01 — East of Kuta
Grupuk
A large bay with several breaks, reached by local boat from the village. From the gentle inside waves to the outside peaks, there is a wave for every level — and every level deserves good photos.
02 — Next to Kuta
Seger
The closest spot to town, just around the headland from Kuta. A reef peak a few minutes away — perfect for a quick session before breakfast.
03 — East of Kuta
Tanjung Aan
Famous for its white-sand bay, Tanjung Aan also has waves breaking off its reefs. Clear water and green hills: the backdrop does half the work.
04 — West of Kuta
Mawi
A powerful reef wave for experienced surfers. When it’s on, Mawi throws the barrels everyone wants on camera.
